A member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary, Mr. Rosenfeld shas published several articles in the Pension Actuary, and has served on the government affairs committee

and the conference committee of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He is a frequent speaker at pension conferences, and has chaired regional and national meetings for the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA), and served as a member of the Leadership Counsel of ACOPA.

He has testified before Department of Treasury officials on behalf of ASPA on funding issues related to Defined Benefit Plans, and has participated in congressional staff conferences regarding pension legislation. He is a frequent speaker on topics including pension plan design, funding issues, and tax law changes that impact the private pension system. Mr. Rosenfeld spoke at the Advanced Actuarial Conference and has provided written commentary on proposed regulations under the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

Mr. Rosenfeld’s article in Trust & Investments highlights the opportunities in qualified plan design after publication of final regulations by the Internal Revenue Service on non-discrimination. His article, “The Right Time For A Defined Benefit Plan” appeared in the CPA Journal, which reflected changes in the tax law.
